Jacq Babcock, ALMFT (they/them) is an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. They received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northern Illinois University. Jacq also studied for 7 years with a spiritual teacher in Seattle, WA where they learned many tools to incorporate holistic approaches towards wellness. They specialize with the LGBTQIA+ community, and Jacq is poly, kink, and fetish informed.

Jacq’s approach is a blend of warm empathy and insightful accountability. They believe that creating change works when there is an environment of positive regard and an ability to be curious about alternative options that have not yet been explored. Jacq combines a style of using reflective questions to help increase internal awareness, coupled with identifying concrete action steps, so you have a clear direction of how to create the changes you are seeking. Jacq believes in a person-centered, strengths-based approach that helps to inspire others to create change from a place of empowerment.
