  • Prepare/Enrich Certified (premarital and couples therapy)
  • Mentoring and Leadership

Jacq utilizes a variety of approaches depending on the needs of whomever they are working with. Some of the approaches they utilize regularly are attachment theory, experiential and somatic approaches, emotionally-focused therapy for couples, the Gottman method, and child-centered play therapy. Jacq also loves to utilize symbolic approaches. Dream analysis, art modalities, sand tray therapy, and studying the archetypes within tarot decks are all ways that the human psyche can access meaning and understanding out of our everyday experiences. For all the moments where we “don’t have the words,” utilizing symbolic approaches can be transformative to make sense out of moments that we otherwise cannot describe.

Overall, Jacq’s approach is a blend of warm empathy and insightful accountability. They support each individual’s ability to self-reflect in a way that can help them make the changes they want to make. Jacq believes in a person-centered, strengths-based approach that helps to inspire others to create change from a place of empowerment.

Jacq is under the supervision of Sandy Lukashevich, LCPC, NCC.
