Molly received a Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University and a Master of Education degree from DePaul University. Molly works with adolescents age 12+ and adults and is a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming provider.
As a neurodivergent person herself, Molly understands the joys and challenges of navigating the world in a different way. She uses her lived experience and background as an educator to assist clients and families with solutions and support to help them thrive. As a neurodiversity-affirming provider, she encourages clients and their families to use their inner strengths and resources to foster self-acceptance, autonomy, and self-advocacy.
Molly excels at establishing and maintaining trust and rapport with her clients, infusing her sessions with curiosity, insight, and positive regard. She views the therapeutic relationship as a journey taken by fellow travelers and believes that every person has a story that deserves to be told in a safe and affirming space. Molly’s therapeutic style is person-centered and trauma-informed. She collaborates with her clients to find the interventions that help them achieve their goals, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She believes that the therapeutic space is sacred and is honored to help her clients process trauma and use these insights to heal their hurting parts, accept themselves, and become more effective in their daily lives.
