Quinisha Lee-Vaughn (she/her) is an experienced and innovative Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Quinisha is a kind, motivated, and versatile therapist. She is very compassionate and energetic, which allows her to establish understanding and rapport with her diverse clientele.  She has a wealth of experience counseling children 6 years old and up, adolescents, adults, and families.

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) with a trauma informed focus, Quinisha assists clients to challenge and alter unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns.  Through the use of research-based methods, her clients are able to improve their emotional state, develop personal coping strategies, and resolve problematic patterns of behavior to ultimately reach a higher level of functioning. Although Quinisha’s primary therapeutic orientation is CBT, she utilizes a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and other therapeutic approaches.

Providing culturally sensitive treatment is a cornerstone of Quinisha’s values as a therapist, and she encourages clients as they navigate through the therapeutic process. Utilizing a holistic approach, Quinisha incorporates care coordination within a multidisciplinary framework to help clients thrive across multiple settings. Quinisha thoroughly enjoys helping her clients blossom into their own identities by empowering their personal growth and promotion of self-love.

Quinisha received her Bachelor of Arts and her Masters of Social Work degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.  She has extensive experience with severe patient populations through her work at residential care facilities, correctional facilities, intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs, and crisis management services.

Quinisha also serves as a Clinical Supervisor for clinical interns and associate-level clinicians at Konick and Associates.
