Jordan Mueller, M.S. (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Konick and Associates who provides counseling and psychotherapy services to children 3+, adolescents, and adults. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University, where she specialized in working with children and adolescents, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Webster University in St. Louis.

Jordan is a creative, empathetic, and client-centered therapist who takes an eclectic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships and fostering collaboration with both clients and their families. Jordan integrates evidence-based methods and psychoeducation to empower clients and support meaningful growth throughout the therapeutic process.
Her clinical training emphasized human development, play therapy, LGBTQ+ identities, art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Jordan values the use of diverse therapeutic modalities and tailors her approach to best support each client’s goals. She has experience working in specialized educational settings, including Little Friends, a school for children with autism and behavioral disorders. In this role, she supported classrooms with a wide range of verbal and non-verbal abilities, deepening her clinical insight and adaptability.
Jordan has experience working with children and teens navigating trauma, including early childhood trauma, medical trauma, and trauma related to family disruption. She supports children coping with grief, and those whose parents are going through divorce or separation. She also works with siblings of neurodiverse or special needs children, offering a space to explore identity, family dynamics, and emotional needs that are often overlooked.
In addition, Jordan provides support to high school and college student-athletes navigating injury, performance anxiety, team and coaching stress, and identity challenges related to playing time or transitions out of sport. She is also passionate about helping college students manage academic pressure, life transitions, and mental health concerns during emerging adulthood.
Jordan has also worked with Afghan refugee women and children, served as a peer leader for students with disabilities, and gained hands-on experience supporting individuals with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental differences. Her past roles include being a teacher’s assistant in special education and an inclusion aide at a summer camp for children on the autism spectrum.
Originally from Naperville, Illinois, Jordan brings a strong sense of community and cultural humility to her practice. As a former intern at the practice, she is passionate about fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment and is thrilled to continue supporting clients with care and compassion as a permanent member of the team
