Our internship program follows a developmental training model, supporting interns in building clinical competence, professional confidence, and autonomy. This position follows a train-to-hire philosophy for interns who demonstrate strong clinical skills and alignment with practice values.
This is a 12-month training position requiring 16–20 hours on-site per week, including weekly on-site supervision, clinical observation, and didactic training. Interns manage a supervised caseload representing approximately 50% of their time in the office (typically 8–10 clients weekly), while developing skills in clinical documentation, case formulation, and evidence-based intervention. Interns are expected to be motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team members committed to professional growth. Interns must be available at least two weekday afternoons and evenings to accommodate client scheduling needs; weekend availability is beneficial for client scheduling.
Qualifications:

This position offers the opportunity to practice at a high level within a collaborative, psychologist-led environment dedicated to clinical excellence, ethical care, and professional development. The position may be structured as a full assessment role or a hybrid role combining assessment and therapy, depending on the psychologist’s interests and expertise.

Konick and Associates is seeking Doctoral-Level Psychology Interns to join our Center for Testing for a 12-month diagnostic training experience. Our program follows a developmental training model, with responsibilities tailored to the trainee’s level of experience. Diagnostic internships are available for early doctoral students, with advanced interns assuming increased responsibility in the assessment process and the option to develop a small therapy caseload.
Interns receive comprehensive training in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, including clinical intake, test administration, scoring, interpretation, diagnostic formulation, report writing, and feedback, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Advanced interns may pursue hybrid training that includes therapy, with priority given to child and teen populations, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ identities.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral student (PhD or PsyD) in good standing from an accredited in-person clinical psychology program (we do not accept online university program applicants at this time)
- Strong interest in psychological and neuropsychological assessment
- Successful completion of ethics and clinical assessment coursework
- Solid training emphasis in empirically supported treatments
- Strong clinical writing, diagnostic reasoning, and interpersonal skills
- Experience or interest in neurodiverse populations highly valued
- Experience working with LGBTQ+ clients highly valued
This is a 12-month, 20 hour per week on-site training position with weekly individual and group supervision, structured didactics, and mentorship. Hybrid therapy opportunities available for advanced interns; weekday afternoon and evening availability required for those electing a therapy caseload.
