Eugenia Wang

Eugenia Wang (she/her) is a diagnostic intern at Konick and Associates. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern University. She earned her Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology from Northeastern University and her bachelor’s degrees in Brain and Behavioral Sciences and Sociology from Purdue University.

Eugenia approaches psychological assessment with curiosity, compassion, and an appreciation for each individual’s unique experiences. She believes that psychological testing is not simply about identifying diagnoses, but also about understanding an individual’s strengths, challenges, and the factors that contribute to their overall functioning. She wishes to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout the assessment process.

Her previous clinical and research experiences include conducting clinical interviews, administering standardized psychological assessments, and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in both testing and therapy settings. She has a particular interest in understanding how early life experiences, family relationships, and trauma influence emotional and cognitive development.

Having grown up in Taiwan and pursued her education and clinical training in the United States, Eugenia recognizes the importance of cultural context in understanding individual experiences and psychological functioning. She values culturally responsive care and strives to consider each client’s background, identity, and lived experiences when approaching assessment.

Outside of her professional work, Eugenia enjoys creating artwork, spending time outdoors, and walking around the arboretum.

Eugenia  is under the supervision of Dr. Kristen Suing.
