Dr. Hilary Hines is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. She brings a warm, genuine, and collaborative approach to her work, creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Dr. Hines earned her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. Her diverse clinical experience includes working with veterans, students in therapeutic day school settings, and individuals and families in private practice.

A particular area of expertise for Dr. Hines is psychological and diagnostic assessment. She has extensive experience conducting comprehensive evaluations to help answer questions related to ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning and developmental differences, trauma, diagnostic clarification, and differential diagnosis. She is skilled at translating complex assessment findings into meaningful, practical recommendations that help clients, families, schools, and treatment providers move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Dr. Hines also understands the challenges families often face when navigating school-based supports and services. She has experience helping families understand assessment results, educational needs, and the special education process, including IEP eligibility and accommodations.

Known for her authenticity, compassion, and attention to detail, Dr. Hines values building strong relationships with her clients. She believes that assessment is more than identifying a diagnosis—it is an opportunity to gain insight, recognize strengths, and develop a roadmap for success. Her goal is to help every client leave with a deeper understanding of themselves and the tools they need to thrive.
