Our Story

Why We’re Different

At Konick and Associates, we take an integrated approach to mental health, offering both therapy and neuropsychological assessments in one practice. Our unique approach means that we don’t apply a “one-size-fits-all” model; instead, we tailor our services to meet each client’s specific needs, helping them define and achieve success on their own terms.

We specialize in working with neurodiverse individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as providing gender-affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients. Our team is also highly experienced in child, teen, and family therapy, ensuring that parents are actively involved in treatment to help reinforce skills and strategies at home.

Additionally, we believe in the power of education and community outreach. Dr. Konick and her team regularly offer informational seminars on various mental health topics to help parents, educators, and the community better understand and support those struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges.  As part of our commitment to education, we also train the next generation of mental health providers through a structured internship program that emphasizes practical experience, supervision, and professional development.

Our Commitment

At Konick and Associates, we are dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and couples to become the best versions of themselves through evidence-based therapy and comprehensive neuropsychological assessments. Our mission is to enhance the well-being and quality of life for our clients by providing tailored care that fosters resilience, growth, and connection.

Our practice is built on a foundation of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning. Whether working with clients, staff, or student trainees, we foster a supportive environment where everyone is valued and respected.

For our clients, we provide therapy and assessments that strengthen self-awareness, emotional health, and relationships. For children and teens, we create a safe, affirming space where they can express themselves, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges. For parents, we offer guidance to help them better understand and support their children. For our staff and student trainees, we provide opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and specialized training to ensure they become highly skilled, compassionate clinicians.

At Konick and Associates, we are more than just a practice—we are a community dedicated to learning, empathy, and growth. Whether you are seeking therapy, assessment, or professional development, we are here to support you every step of the way.
