Katie Meyr (she/her) is a Doctoral Psychology Intern at Konick & Associates, providing specialized treatment for those hoping to gain a deeper understanding of their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning through psychological assessment. Katie grew up in Darien, Illinois, and is continuing her academic career at Midwestern University.

Katie worked individuals across the lifespan at two different acute psychiatric hospitals. She primarily supported individuals with concerns such as mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. She has facilitated psychoeducational groups using evidence-based approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is skilled in assessment, crisis intervention, and interprofessional treatment planning meeting the needs of each unique person. Katie is committed to delivering thorough, compassionate evaluations that empower both the individual and their families to take the next steps toward well-being, offering personalized recommendations.

In her free time, Katie is an amateur music curator, surrounds herself with her support system, fosters dogs when she can, and loves to attend music festivals. If you’re looking for someone to match your energy through this process, helping navigate personal exploration through evidence-based assessment, Katie and the Konick team are more than happy to collaborate with you.

Katie is under the supervision of Dr. Kristen Suing and Dr. Phillipe Kleefield.
